Volunteer at the
Williamston Food Bank

Want to make a real difference right here in Williamston? The Williamston Food Bank is powered by everyday people who give their time, skills, and compassion to help neighbors in need. Whether you have an hour a month or a few hours a week, there’s a place for you here.

Ways You Can Help

There are many ways to support our mission beyond just sorting cans (though we love that, too!):

  • Assist during food distribution days
  • Deliver food to homebound families or seniors
  • Help with transportation and logistics
  • Organize a food drive at your school, workplace, or church
  • Distribute donation envelopes at events or meetings
  • Host a fundraiser or community donation drive
  • Invite us to speak at your business, club, or civic group

Volunteer as a group for team-building or service hours

From food distributions to fundraising, behind-the-scenes logistics to delivery drivers—we rely on volunteers like you to make it all happen.

The Heart of Our Operation: Volunteers

Since day one, this organization has thrived because of the kindness and dedication of our volunteers. From the early days with Harold and Margaret Larson, to the tireless efforts of people like Jo Schoff, Bob and Jane Pease, and today’s incredible team—including Director Jill Cutshaw, Treasurer Kim VanErp, Volunteer Coordinator Cathy Purdum, and longtime helpers like Phil and Pat Everett—this food bank has always been a community effort.

If you’re looking for a way to give back, this is it.
